This is a driveline kit to make your Lamborghini Murcielago AWD to a rear wheel drive monster. As a dedicated rear wheel drive car it gives you some significant advantages. It lightens the car, reduces drive line stress during hard launches, allows you to step the rear of the car out for more aggressive driving, reduces the chatter when making sharp turns at slow speeds, quicker throttle response, faster acceleration and in my opinion the best advantage it allows you to run different tire set ups. All AWD cars, especially the Murielago have to have a very specific tire ratio so the front differential spins at the correct speed. If the wrong tire ratio is used it will cause catastrophic damage to your front differential which is a very costly expense. With a dedicated rear wheel drive car you dont have to worry about the fronts and rears spinning at different speeds allowing you to run endless possibilities of tire combos. This kit is very easy to install and can easily be done in an afternoon. The biggest challenge would be getting the front end high enough off the ground. Having access to a lift would be optimal but it can be done with jack stands as I have seen it done this way multiple times. I own a lift so it was very easy to do and took me no more than 2 hours to do. All that needs to be done is. Remove front wheels and brake disks. Remove the large front axle nuts. Once unbolted the front axles are easily removed from the front differential. Insert the custom machined axle plug and lock it down with the supplied plug nut. Then you can remove the front differential by removing the 5 bolts that attach it to the drive shaft housing and disconnect the wiring harnesses that is plugged into the front differential. Zip tie the wire/plug to a secure location and install the custom machined drive shaft housing cover where the front differential was originally bolted. Then I reset the ride height a bit to level the car again since you removed a significant amount of weight. I personally installed and removed this kit from my 2008 LP640 roadster. I had zero problems running the car in RWD and never had any codes or driveline errors in the computer system. Just run the car and enjoy. Just be careful as you now are transferring all that power to the rear wheels so the car drives totally different and if you step into the throttle to hard/fast you will break loose the rear tires. I personally enjoyed the car significantly more and enjoyed the occasional burn out and sideways driving. Please let me know if you have any questions. Ebikeling Fat Tire Direct Drive Brushless Electric Bicycle Conversion Kits come with a 1200W hub motor and a 30Amp controller. Kits are ready to install with aluminum double walled rim and a hub motor already attached, all you need to do is to transfer your original tire. We have two throttle control options to choose from, twist or thumb. There are several other accessories included to complete this ebike kit such as pedal assist sensor and a set of brake levers with safety cutoff switches. Direct Drive Brushless Hub Motor. LED or upgraded LCD controller. Twist or Thumb Throttle. Freewheel (for rear kit).
