This is a Brand New 2 Piece Drive Shaft Conversion from an aluminum Drive shaft to Steel. This is for lowered vehicles! If you need the stock height version of this kit, you can find it here. As you may know the stock aluminum drive shafts are 5 diameter and when you lower a Silverado or Sierra the drive shaft. Will rub and eventually cut the shaft into two pieces. We have designed a two piece conversion shaft that will fit your truck – needs to be a 2wd crew cab shortbed 1500. This Drive Shaft kit will also help the critical speed of the drive shaft if the truck has been re-geared. This kit will include a brand new 3 diameter steel two piece drive shaft with carrier bearing and universal joints – The drive shaft will be built and fully balanced ready to bolt in. The cross member is included – it will require drilling holes threw frame to mount cross member. This drive shaft kit will give more clearance for lowered trucks.
