For sale is a Ashcroft ATB lsd converted for a chain drive setup. It’s originally designed for use on an mx5 and has MK1 mx5 stub shafts fitted. The differential itself is new and unused. There’s 2 sprockets included as seen in the pictures. The differential is mounted in some custom billet housings and is currently put together with dummy bearings for easy assembly during build stage and c. Omes with new actual bearings and side seals. All this is required to finish it is to add a drain/fill plug and order more bolts to hold it together. Chain allows you to mount your axle anywhere you want and cut the chain to size.. You can’t do that with a belt. Also takes out the guesswork and costly mistakes in purchasing the wrong length belt. Our pumpkin is vented, which not only allows for better cooling, but allows debris to fall out.. With others if a rock kicks up in the pumpkin off the chain it becomes trapped & can destroy your internals.. Over time the pumkin traps all the garbage and will need to be dissasembled and cleaned..
