The HID kit supplied includes the latest second generation slimline digital ballast and will allow you to easily see up to 3 times further than the halogen version. The ballast and igniter are specially designed to suit the light body to enable them to be internally mounted to give a nice neat factory look with the same footprint as the halogen model. They are of suburb quality with a strong steel construction which will last a very long time. The 55W Xenon HID conversion kit is specifically designed to suit the IPF 900 series driving lights. High Intensity Discharge (HID) globes produce light by creating an electrical arc between two electrodes. The result is a much greater light output than traditional halogen fillament globes. This kit will easily increase peripheral visibility by up to 70% and provide over 3 times more illuminated coverage than stock lighting.
