We have designed a two piece conversion shaft that will fit your truck – needs to be a 2wd crew cab shortbed 1500. This Drive Shaft kit will also help the critical speed of the drive shaft if the truck has been re-geared or has high speed vibrations. This kit will include a brand new 3 diameter steel two piece drive shaft with carrier bearing and universal joints – The drive shaft will be built and fully balanced. The cross member is included – it will require drilling holes threw frame to mount cross member. This drive shaft kit will give more clearance for lowered trucks. Truck specs for this shaft to fit. 6 speed transmission (6l80e) Transmission yoke OD – 1.886″ Crew cab/ shortbed 5’8″ bed- 143.5″ wheel base or Extended cab 6′ bed – 143.5″ wheel base. This kit is designed to be bolted in there is no welding required. You will have to drill holes to mount the cross member. Installation time is about 1-3 hours depending on your experience level.
